Delete my Sigmark account

You can request deletion of your Sigmark account at any time. Send an email from the address you use to sign in to Sigmark — that lets us verify the request belongs to you.

Or write to us directly at integrations@lineside.app with the subject line "Delete my Sigmark account" and the email address you use to sign in.

What we delete

  • Your authentication record (sign-in credentials, OAuth links, session tokens).
  • Your Sigmark user profile (name, profile photo, role assignments, RIW number, training certifications mirrored from Sigtrace).
  • Your project memberships — you'll no longer appear as an active project member.
  • Your interface preferences (colour selections, dashboard state, saved filters).

What we have to keep

Sigmark is the official record of who did what during a railway signalling Testing & Commissioning project. The work you have already attested to — markups, stamps, signatures, audit events — forms part of a regulated evidence trail that the rail operator and the relevant safety regulator are entitled to retain. We are unable to delete those entries on request.

Specifically, we keep:

  • Audit-trail events you generated, including the identity snapshot recorded at the time you took the action (name, RIW, role).
  • Stamps and signatures you applied to sheets, frozen against the rounds they were applied to.
  • Records of book-outs, audits, and reopens that affect the integrity of the project's evidence chain.

Where possible we will pseudonymise these entries (replacing your contact details with a stable but non-identifying reference) once your account is deleted, but the historical attestations themselves remain.

How long it takes

We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete deletion of the items listed under "What we delete" within 60 days, in line with Google Play's data-deletion policy.
